📍 Ceuta is an autonomous city of Spain located on the northern coast of Africa, at the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea. It is situated on a peninsula bordering Morocco to the south and west, and faces the Strait of Gibraltar to the north across from mainland Spain.
Ceuta’s geography is characterized by a compact, hilly landscape within an area of about 18.5 square kilometers (7.1 square miles). The city occupies a narrow peninsula with a mix of coastal plains, low hills, and rocky shorelines, including prominent features such as Mount Hacho. Its coastline includes beaches, small bays, and strategic harbor areas.
