MEET GREG LOUCKS

Greg Loucks

Greg Loucks is a writer, poet, filmmaker, musician, and graphic designer, as well as a creative visionary and faith-driven storyteller working at the intersection of language, meaning, and human connection. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, he has lived in Cincinnati, Ohio; Hot Springs, Arkansas; Williams, Arizona; and Flagstaff, Arizonaโ€”each place shaping his perspective, resilience, and creative voice.

Gregโ€™s work explores themes of love, perseverance, spiritual formation, and the unseen forces that shape identity and destiny. His writing blends personal experience, biblical imagery, and cultural reflection, often carrying a poetic, watchman-like tone that values depth over speed and honesty over performance.

With a lifelong fascination with geography, language, culture, and expression, Greg studies and learns multiple languages as a way of understanding people and places more deeply. He holds a particular passion for Europe and its cities and countries, drawn to their history, art, architecture, languages, and spiritual heritage. This passion informs both his creative work and his calling to travel and build meaningful cross-cultural connections.

His creative, technical, and physical interests reflect both discipline and play, including juggling, unicycling, yo-yos, archery, fencing, bowling, pool, cooking, computers, coding, guitar, piano, music, film, graphic design, and storytelling. Greg is also called to travel, filmmaking, and evangelism, using arts and media as vehicles for truth, connection, and impact across culturesโ€”especially across Europe. Committed to creativity as a responsibility rather than a trend, he believes words, images, and music still have the power to heal, confront, and unite. Whether writing essays, poetry, composing music, designing visuals, or creating films, his aim is simple but demanding: to tell the truth faithfully, to honor love as sacred, and to awaken clarity, courage, and hope.

Ezekiel 33:7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. OF YOU, NOT YET YOU'VE GOT NEAR.

My name Gregory or Greg means "watchman", or even "watchful", or even "vigilant". That's all you need to know to understand me better.
