Jordan is a country in the Middle East characterized by desert landscapes, rocky plateaus, the Jordan Rift Valley including the Dead Sea, and a short coastline along the Red Sea.

📍 Jordan is a country located in the Middle East in Western Asia, positioned east of the Jordan River and serving as a bridge between the Levant and the Arabian Peninsula. It is bordered by Syria to the north, Iraq to the northeast, Saudi Arabia to the east and south, and Israel and the Palestinian territories to the west, with a small coastline along the Red Sea at the Gulf of Aqaba.
Jordan’s terrain is largely desert, forming part of the Arabian Desert, with plateaus and rocky landscapes covering much of the country. The Jordan Rift Valley runs along its western edge, including the Jordan River and the Dead Sea, one of the lowest points on Earth. Jordan’s location has historically made it an important crossroads for trade routes, cultural exchange, and regional connections in the Middle East.
