Armenia is a landlocked country in the South Caucasus region of Western Asia, characterized by rugged mountains, highland plateaus, deep river valleys, and the scenic Lake Sevan.

📍 Armenia is a landlocked country located in the South Caucasus region of Western Asia, at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and the Middle East. It lies between Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran to the south.
Armenia’s terrain is predominantly mountainous, with highlands, deep valleys, and fast-flowing rivers shaping much of the landscape. It is part of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, and its elevation gives it a cooler climate compared to surrounding lowland regions. One of its most notable geographic features is Lake Sevan, one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. Armenia’s position at a historic crossroads has made it an important center for cultural exchange, trade, and conflict throughout history, linking Europe and Asia.
