Saint Barthélemy is a French overseas collectivity in the Caribbean Sea characterized by hilly terrain, rocky coastlines, sandy beaches, and tropical coastal landscapes.
📍 Saint Barthélemy is a small island territory of France located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea. It lies southeast of Sint Maarten and north of Saint Kitts and Nevis, with no land borders and surrounded entirely by the Caribbean Sea. The island is commonly known as St. Barts and functions as a French overseas collectivity.
Saint Barthélemy’s geography is characterized by a hilly, rocky landscape with a dry climate and limited freshwater resources. The island covers about 25 square kilometers (10 square miles) and features numerous small bays, coves, and white-sand beaches along its irregular coastline. Vegetation is relatively sparse due to the arid conditions, though the surrounding waters support coral reefs and marine life. Its small size, natural harbors, and scenic coastal environment have shaped its development as a high-end tourism destination and an important location for yachting and maritime activity in the Caribbean.

What is an ISO Country Code?
ISO country codes come from the international standard ISO 3166 created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These codes are used worldwide in databases, aviation systems, banking, shipping, and international data systems to uniquely identify countries and territories.ISO 3166-1 codes are the two-letter country codes such as US, FR, or JP. These are called Level-1 ISO codes.
Only ISO 3166-1 codes support flag emojis. Flag emojis are created by combining two Unicode regional indicator letters that match the country’s ISO two-letter code.
ISO 3166-2 codes represent states, provinces, or regions. Example: US-AZ = Arizona CA-ON = Ontario Subdivision codes do not have flag emojis.
