📍 British Virgin Islands are a British Overseas Territory located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea, east of Puerto Rico and north of the United States Virgin Islands. The territory consists of more than 60 islands and cays, with the largest being Tortola, and has no land borders, being surrounded entirely by the Caribbean Sea.

The British Virgin Islands’ geography is defined by a group of hilly, volcanic islands with rugged terrain and coastal plains in limited areas. The territory covers about 151 square kilometers (58 square miles) and features numerous bays, natural harbors, white-sand beaches, and coral reefs.
