Honduras is a country in Central America characterized by mountainous interior highlands, tropical rainforests, fertile valleys, and coastlines along both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

📍 Honduras is a country located in Central America, positioned within the region’s land bridge between North and South America. It is bordered by Guatemala to the west, El Salvador to the southwest, and Nicaragua to the southeast, with coastlines along the Caribbean Sea to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south via the Gulf of Fonseca.
Honduras’s terrain is mostly mountainous, with interior highlands, valleys, and some coastal plains. The northern coast along the Caribbean includes fertile lowlands, while the southern Pacific coast is much smaller. The country is rich in forests, rivers, and biodiversity. Honduras’s location has historically made it an important part of regional trade and cultural exchange in Central America.
