Macau WEATHER

Macau is a special administrative region of China on the southern coast of the South China Sea characterized by coastal lowlands, reclaimed land, and a sheltered harbor along the Pearl River Delta.

📍 Macau is a special administrative region located on the southern coast of China, along the western side of the Pearl River Delta. It lies west of Hong Kong and borders the mainland Chinese city of Zhuhai, with coastlines along the South China Sea.
Macau’s geography is characterized by a small, low-lying area that includes a peninsula connected to the mainland and the islands of Taipa and Coloane, which are now joined by land reclamation. The territory covers about 33 square kilometers (13 square miles) and features a mix of urban development, coastal zones, and some hilly terrain on Coloane. Much of Macau’s land has been expanded through reclamation due to limited natural space. Its coastal location, sheltered waters, and position within the Pearl River Delta have shaped its development as a major center for tourism, trade, and entertainment in East Asia.
