Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory in the eastern Caribbean Sea characterized by low-lying coral islands, sandy beaches, and surrounding coral reefs.

📍 Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea, part of the Lesser Antilles. It lies north of Saint Martin and Sint Maarten, and east of Puerto Rico, with no land borders and surrounded entirely by the Caribbean Sea. Anguilla consists of the main island and several smaller offshore islets.
Anguilla’s geography is characterized by a low-lying, flat landscape made primarily of limestone and coral, with limited freshwater resources. The island covers about 91 square kilometers (35 square miles) and features numerous white-sand beaches, shallow bays, and clear turquoise waters along its coastline. Vegetation is generally sparse due to the dry climate, consisting of scrubland and low shrubs. Its coastal environment and calm waters support marine life and tourism, while its location in the northeastern Caribbean has shaped its development as a quiet, high-end destination focused on beaches, hospitality, and regional connectivity.
