lol Not only does he play opera music, but it is the same CD every single day! I’m like can we please have at least a day away from the opera music? Please? I can go to my room and ignore it to a point or I could leave the house, but if I hear that opera one more time, I’m going to scream. lol I hate opera music, can’t you tell? lol Any CD even my favorites I get sick of if I hear it everyday! I have so many CDs for a reason, I get tired of the same old same old.

This Christmas song was not a hymn but is my favorite sung at this time of year! It kind of surprised me when I first found out who wrote it. It’s sung by a lot. It was written by a former singer in the Gaither’s Gospel group. But, he’s also known for his Christian comedy and he quite hilarious he does some parodies too, like Michael W. Smith’s well-known “Place in This World” was changed to “Face in this World.” It’s about plastic surgery and in the end of the music video this guy Mark Lowery wakes up from the surgery as Michael W. Smith.

I had heard it once before and it really got to me this time. I had no idea where I heard it or who it was by and usually I’m pretty good at that stuff! Friday, April 9th, 2010 by GregI’m a fan of many Christian bands owning over 700 Christian CDs! Well, I own all of the Newsboys stuff their one of the bands I like. Their new CD “Go” isn’t bad. Just not their best. Some songs on there are mediocre. But, I can’t stop listening to the song “Your Love is Better Than Life” it is really upbeat and different and very good lyrics.
They also put a great version of the song “I Am Free” on this CD!

People may give these artists credit for someone else’s song. I love those artists too and they have their own stuff too, but these can be lesser known names even though their songs are well-known.

It’s called Supernatural by Mark Snider, I highly recommend it, if you want a deeper intimacy with God! It’s a form of worship called prophetic worship. Friday, April 9th, 2010 by GregTonight I was on myspace. For those who don’t know Curt Collins is a contemporary Christian artist. He’s kind of newer so not as well-known as some! I was just introduced to his music the other night by my friend Penny. My last blog I wrote called “When Music Speaks To You” she commented on that blog that Curt Collin’s music has been speaking to her a lot like that that so she knew how I felt! Well, she invited me to Curt Collins group and I think that’s how he found me. Often someone else runs a Christian musician’s myspace. And if it is them they won’t say much or nothing. Well, he requested to be my friend. I said of course! I expected no response which is typical for a Christian musician on myspace. He replied back. And he kept replying back. He took the time to talk to me. He said it really was him who runs his myspace. I was so surprised and honored! At one point I told him how I don’t own any of CDs yet. How I just learned about his music from my friend Penny. But, he kept talking to me! I told him I am honored and definitely more apt to buy his CD ASAP! I’ve heard his stuff on his myspace it is really good and really inspiring! He also asked me to help him to get him to come to a concert in Cincinnati, Ohio, he gave me his booking agency number. I’m definitely helping this man! My brother! I already consider him a really good friend, I’m honored to know him! He said I could contact him anytime! He is on the radio and known. But, I told him to stay this way even when he becomes bigger! I think he will become bigger just for his hospitality and friendliness and humility!

In my opinion this is the way it should be! So many tv evanglists and Christian musicians are well-known and some are greatly used by God! I like several! I’m not going to judge which one’s have let their fame go to their head that’s God’s job! However, God blesses and really uses people that stay humble and remember their roots (which he said he would), he treated me like an equal.
James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”
I have over 1300 friends on mypace more then he has fans on myspace he’s just over 1000. Most of these 1300 are regular people. How many truly talk to me on a regular basis though? Maybe 20-30 at the most! And this is a Christian musician on the radio folks! I’m not known for anything atleast not yet! No CD, no book no anything, but I am used, but God gets the glory! People need to humble themselves before God, we are no one without Him, we are wicked wretched sinners. God does not share His glory! Who are we really? I am only who I am in Christ! I am no one without Him! I am who He made me be! I was so messed up before knowing Him!

God mightily uses the people who stay humble and don’t let it go to their head. There are people across the world also that God mightily uses that no one has heard of! I have met several real anointed, humble people who are mighty intercessory prayer warriors are used greatly where it is needed in homeless or countries really needing the gospel. I know several missionary workers some being threatened all the time. Some being old in-person friends. They’re emails could be intercepted so they’re vague on what’s realy going on sometimes, I support several of them! They’re putting their lines on the line to spread the good news of the gospel! Great is their reward in Heaven and they will never be known through fame and fortune, but they will be remembered by God “well done good and faithful servant!” and remembered by the people who helped bring them into the kingdom of Heaven! If your not supporting any misionary work I would greatly encourage you to! Also I would be used by God asap, what are we wasting away our lives for? God made us, He breathed life into us. For what a wasted life? I think not! There’s only two reasons we’re here on earth to find Jesus and bring others to Jesus! Everything else really doesn’t truly matter and will pass away!

Friday, April 9th, 2010 by GregI was driving my truck home from work today listening to one of my CDs. A Christian group called FFH, it was their newest CD Voice From Home. I have owned this CD for several months shortly after it came out. I think I only listened to it once all the way through! Today I decided to give it a listen driving home from work! It’s not one of my greatest CDs in the least, nor is it one of FFH’s better CDs. However the anointing of God was upon me driving home! And this one song just was so speaking to me! And God’s love and anointing was upon me and I began weaping! I don’t completely know why but I have some idea! It’s a song called I Am Love! I love it when God uses songs to speak to you like that!
